Girl Scouts Filter Donations!

With the help of Charlottesville’s Girl Scouts Troop, PureMadi donated forty five (45) filters to three rural primary schools in the Moretele District, North West Province of South Africa!

During the second week of November 2018, PureMadi visited the three primary schools. A standard procedure was followed whereby the teachers were first given a brief presentation on the purpose and basics of the ceramic water filter. All students were then assembled and lectured on good hygiene, clean water, and effectiveness + maintenance of the ceramic water filters. Questions were asked at the end of each presentation and students who correctly answered were awarded with drinking water cups. Extra water cups were given for use.

Teachers and students from the three schools were very happy and appreciated PureMadi’s efforts in the provision of clean drinking water to children, who are the most vulnerable to water borne diseases.

We had an amazing time at all the locations and are very grateful for the kind generosity of the Charlottesville’s Girl Scouts. Their donations helped distribute 45 filters!

Below are some of the pictures from the schools!
